Position Overview The Business Analyst/Administrator is responsible for the overall evolution and user adoption of the Salesforce (SFDC) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in expanding the use of Salesforce.com within an organization and increasing its value to the organization. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in establishing a business vision for the use of Salesforce CRM within the organization, adapting Salesforce CRM to current/future business processes, and identifying functionality that will drive further adoption of Salesforce CRM. The ideal candidate will also bring strong skills in dashboard development and user training. This candidate will be the subject matter expert on the data management, implementation and reporting within Salesforce CRM. Job Responsibilities Establish the business vision and roadmap for the expanded use of Salesforce CRM across the commercial organization at Caris Life Sciences Analyze business requirements to determine the most effective approach to serving the needs of the commercial organization at Caris Life Sciences Identify out-of-the-box Salesforce CRM functionality that will deliver additional value by automating work, increasing user adoption, and/or delivering business insight Define and design custom enhancements to Salesforce CRM that provide significant ROI by bridging the gap between out-of-the-box Salesforce CRM functionality and business processes at Caris Life Sciences Design and implement Salesforce CRM reports, dashboards, and alerts that support the business processes and deliver business insight Investigate Salesforce plug-ins and other integrated products that can address additional business needs of the commercial organization at Caris Life Sciences Prioritize changes (enhancements, fixes, integrations, etc) to Salesforce CRM in order to maximize short term (i.e. quick wins) and long term (i.e. strategic enhancements) business value Working with IT, ensure the successful on-time implementation of enhancements/fixes to Salesforce CRM Working with Commercial Education, facilitate the training of new users on Salesforce CRM and grow the skill level of existing users on Salesforce CRM Working with IT, implement integrations to Salesforce CRM and ensure the seamless transfer of data Serve as the secondary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment handling basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, screen layouts, data import/export, workflows, and other routine tasks Required Qualifications Bachelors degree Minimum 2 years of experience as a Salesforce CRM business analyst Minimum 1 years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator Minimum 1 years of experience working in a Sales, Account Management, Customer Service, and/or Marketing department Proven experience establishing the business vision and roadmap for the evolution of the Salesforce CRM system Keen ability to analyze business requirements and design enhancements for the Salesforce CRM system Keen ability to identify opportunities to optimize Salesforce CRM to enable business users Superior ability to design and implement dashboards and reports to deliver business insight Proven experience training users and driving user adoption on the Salesforce CRM system Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality Strong data management abilities Preferred Qualifications Masters degree Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications Saleforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion A demonstrated ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into designs for systems enhancement Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in working with business executives and business users Demonstrated decision-making ability towards solving problems, while working under pressure and effectively communicating these solutions to co-workers and customers. General understanding of business policies and practices Must be a self-starter requiring little supervision Excellent time management skills High degree of personal organization and ability to multi-task Ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge of proprietary software programs Other This position requires periodic travel and some evenings, weekends and/or Holidays Physical Demands Must possess ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
