The IT Support Specialist provides advanced technical assistance and support for IT-related issues. This role involves troubleshooting complex hardware and software problems, managing escalated tickets, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The Specialist will work closely with other IT teams to maintain and improve the overall IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to IT support requests, providing effective troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.Monitor and maintain IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.Maintain accurate records of support tickets, solutions provided, and system changes in the IT helpdesk system.Educate users on best practices, software applications, and new technologies as needed.Work closely with IT teams to identify recurring issues and assist in developing long-term solutions.Assist in IT projects, including system upgrades, deployments, and migrations.Ensure adherence to company security policies and procedures, participating in security audits and assessments as necessary.Qualifications
Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field1+ years of experience in IT support or a related role.Hands-on support exp with MacOS, Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, and other business collaboration toolsExperience designing and delivering training programs, user guides, and change management initiatives.Understanding of IT asset and license management practices.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.Benefits
