In this pivotal role, you will oversee our initiatives to achieve annual and multi-year fundraising goals, focusing on fostering relationships with foundation funders and major donors dedicated to supporting grassroots organizations working at the intersection of climate change, racial justice, and economic equity.Your responsibilities will involve effective supervision and management of the fundraising team, working closely with our Executive team to meet established benchmarks and deliverables. You will engage in all aspects of the fundraising process including grant renewals, proposal development, and maintaining robust communication with current and prospective funders. Your role will also involve diversifying our prospect pipeline and ensuring accurate revenue projections.We are seeking candidates with a solid track record in fundraising, particularly within the non-profit sector. A deep understanding of development principles, along with the ability to nurture relationships with a diverse range of funders, is crucial. Experience in leading development teams and a strong background in grant writing, donor communications, and fundraising strategy are essential.The ideal candidate will share our commitment to ending climate change and creating an equitable clean energy future, while advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
