What we can offer : A crafted employee experience designed to foster professional growth, a focus on health & well-being and an internal community that will set you up for success The Opportunity: As the Application Engineer - Sales Tool, you will contribute to key overall division initiatives in product development design requirements, testing, product application, competitive strategy, industry compliance initiatives, contributions to growing the VRF, and DFS industry in the US market. You will work in conjunction with other functional areas (Operations, Product Planning and Marketing) across the U.S. CAC team to deliver one message for LG's customers and help drive growth. Serve as the sales tool expert for LG sales tools LATS HVAC and LATS Revit. Exist as a first source point of contact responding to both internal and external inquiries regarding the application of LG's sales tools. Create and maintain sales tools training materials including (but not limited to) Users Manuals, sales training presentations, training videos, training curriculum materials, and sample projects. Development of sales tools including: gathering voice of customer requests from field sales team and sales customers, developing value added cases for upgrades and new features, updating features, adding new products, and removing old products. Maintenance of sales tools. Identifying bugs, communicating with factory to fix bugs, log and track bug fixes, coordinate new software releases to sales team. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Comfortable presenting to and engaging with a technical audience including engineers, consultants, and sales reps. Adaptable to the management style and process methods of foreign colleagues to achieve common goals. Responsibly maintains an awareness or direct knowledge about industry trends and technologies for HVAC sales tools products. Strong English language skills including spelling, grammar, structure and syntax as necessary to improve upon existing and creation of new technical documentation. Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical and architectural blueprints, specifications and HVAC equipment submittal data. Ability to create sales tools training materials, users manuals, etc. Korean language fluency a plus. Presentation skills for training large or small groups. Physical Conditions: Required regularly to sit, talk, and listen. Required to stand, walk, use hands to pick up, handle or feel and reach with arms. Ability to climb ladders Must be able to travel on business occasionally and work beyond normal work hours as necessary. Must be able to lift boxes and/or equipment of up to 30 pounds.
