Job Description The Tax Compliance supervisor is responsible for analysis and review of special projects related to income tax at BHE Renewables, LLC including the tracking of prevailing wage and apprenticeship compliance for new energy projects based new Inflation Reduction Act rules, assist in reviewing tax inputs and calculations on tax equity and HLBV modeling, analysis of income tax impacts of merger and acquisition activity at BHE Renewables, LLC both during planning and execution phases and other one-off income tax projects as the need arises. This position also supports other BHE affiliates as needed with special projects that may relate to BHE Renewables, LLC. Responsibilities Work with the operation and development teams and outside consultants on tracking the compliance of prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements (including domestic content and energy community bonus provisions as applicable) on new and existing energy projects. Review and analysis of tax inputs and calculations in tax equity and HLBV models related to tax equity investments and review of tax equity partnership returns as needed. Analysis of income tax implications related to merger and acquisition activity during both the planning and execution phases. Provide analysis or review on other one-off income tax related projects as the need arises. Provide assistance with other income tax related tasks as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting. Graduate degree preferred. Certified public accountant preferred. 6 or more years of big four or industry equivalent tax experience, four of which is in tax accounting with a certified public accountant designation or a graduate business degree. Experience with merger and acquisitions activity from an income tax perspective preferred Strong computer software skills. Creative and critical thinking abilities. Strong organization and planning skills required to manage project-oriented work. Effective oral and written communication skills. Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
