Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Program Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Chicago, IL and Addison, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for establishing and managing projects to collectively deliver desired business outcomesLead a variety of different types of projects utilizing several different methodologies including large scale application development, systems integration, operational efficiency improvements, process reengineering, and infrastructure upgrade and deploymentsManage multiple projects and may have end to end responsibility for the work effort and may lead both technology and non-technology initiativesResponsible for project financials partner closely with Line of Business Change Management teams to provide updates on technology deliverablesResponsible for end-to-end technology delivery of the assigned project and is the primary point of escalation for technology issuesDrives overall technology execution and manages line of business stakeholder relationships and acts as their advocate throughout the life of the projectPlans, organizes, monitors and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completionDevelop and socialize potential risk mitigation strategiesEffectively communicates with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support neededPartners with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the changeResponsible for financials and project documentsGuides projects through all phases, ensuring required standards and processes are followed, required documents are completed, and required tracking systems are kept updatedDevelops and manages project planIdentifies, assigns, tracks, escalates, and resolves issuesSchedules and facilitates regular meetings to review progress and status, and ad hoc topical meetings; formulates agendas and documents minutes, action items, etc.
Requirements:
7+ years of end-to-end project management experienceStrong Project Management skills with ability to lead a team and drive to resultsStrong Change Management skills/experienceAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAnalytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent time management and prioritization skillsStrong project financial management skillsAbility to provide project status on deliverables or escalate issues to sr. leaders and executivesMicrosoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) proficientAgile Certification neededAgile Scrum master or RTEStrong proven Technology background and management skills/experienceJIRA, Apache, JavaAbility to prioritize work and meet deadlinesAgile tools (Jira)Agile tools (Bitbucket)
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's degreePMP CertificationFamiliarity with SAFe 4.0 (or higher)Experience working in a financial industryJira/Atlassian experience
Pay Range:
$57.70-$65.70
