The Opportunity with McKinstry
We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Project Accounting division in Seattle. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting department management and providing financial, forecasting and budgeting analysis, financial modeling, financial report creation and budget planning. Other responsibility for this role include:
Monthly departmental WIP reviews & reconciliation
Month-end Job Cost and WIP close processes
Write-Up/Down Reporting
Reviews and prepares monthly job cost transfers
Produces cost substantiations per defined contract terms & schedule
Reviews contract language for substantiation requirements
Produces project gross margin analysis & supporting documentation
Downloads and organizes substantiation documentation
Project Audit
What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry
Must have demonstrated proficiency for all the responsibilities of a Analyst – Project Compliance
3 years of finance/accounting experience preferred
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite -Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
Knowledge of automated accounting and construction management software required.
Knowledge of database structures preferred.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.
Demonstrates strong attention to detail, organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills required.
Self-motivated; deadline oriented with strong attention to detail required.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
Ability to recognize the work scope within broader team goals.
Eagerness to learn and assume additional duties required.

The pay range for this position is $58,410- $94,100 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
