Scope:
A Planner is responsible for planning and releasing shop travelers and tooling instructions for remakes, repeats, re-panelizations and repeats with change. Requires a basic knowledge of planning procedures, Microsoft office Software, customer requirements/specifications, and industry standards.
This is not a Production Control/Scheduler/Developer position.
Both 1st and 2nd shift positions are available.1st shift: Mon-Fri - 9:00 am to 5:30 pm2nd shift: Mon-Fri - 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Quickly and accurately releases manufacturing instructions to CAM, Artwork, Drill, and Electrical Test Departments for tooling generation when required.
Read, understand, and interpret purchase orders, travelers, prints, and drawings to verify that instructions generated and travelers created are accurate for each individual job.
Verify that travelers released are accurate representations of current manufacturing process steps and sequences and that board and panel quantities are accurate.
Understand and implement Engineering Change Notices (ECN) by making required updates and changes to shop travelers and create instructions for CAM and other departments to implement ECNs.
Perform other department or company-related tasks at the direction of the department supervisor.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:
Good oral and written communication skills are required. Must speak, read, and write English fluently.
Basic mathematical and reasoning ability required.
This position requires the individual to work at a desktop environment for the majority of the shift. Some walking may be required. Must be able to lift 30lbs.
Must have very good concentration, must be able remain focused with minor interruptions.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED desired; or at least 5 years work experience in lieu of educational requirement.
PCB Planning experience required.
Work Environment:
Fast paced open office environment with surrounding noise and frequent interruptions. Occasional overtime. Interface with video display terminals. Demand for interaction with varied groups and people and meeting deadlines.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:$45,108 - $71,300
Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
