Position Summary
The material handler is responsible for ensuring product parts and supplies are readily available for our production lines and other support areas.
Role and Responsibilities
Second Shift- 6:00PM- 2:40AM
•Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.•Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.•Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.•Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.•Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.•All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications
Second Shift- 6:00PM- 2:40AM
REQUIRED:•High School diploma or equivalent•Must be able to speak, read, and write English•The ability to stand up for 8 - 10 hours a day required•Overtime opportunities possible•The ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis•The ability to pass a drug test and background check•Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions•Must be age 18 or older•Must be eligible to work in the United States•Minimum 2 years of related/relevant work experience, such as driving a fork lift or tugger.•Valid drivers' license
PREFERRED/DESIRED:•Need to be able to work in a fast paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment•Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus•Proficient with the use of shop equipment including mills, lathes, grinders and welders•The ability to work with components that are in constant motion along an assembly line without adverse effects•The ability to work on a team of co-workers in close proximity to each other•The ability to make timely decisions and provide feedback to each other•Have a strong desire for personal and professional development•Fork lift certification/license
