Equipment Technology Field Support Analyst

General Overview : Responsible for managing a team that plans and executes support operations and escalations relating to electronics, well site IT software, and field networking matters. Position requires local proximity to and involvement in field operations to promote communication between the software development group, IT operations and field operations personnel as well as perform periodic assessments and training related to electronics and software usage.
Responsibilities:
Leads and assists in the project management and development of programs to further increase availability of support programs that enable service delivery to customers.Work closely with Field Operations and Maintenance in managing the oversight of the Field IT Support team.Conduits between Field Operations, Maintenance, and IT in bridging the departments as well as enabling increased communication and project planning to ensure successful implementation of process.Provides oversight on the rollout of IT field systems, including all supporting software, hardware and electronics.Leads onsite field training assessments in assisting improvement of field operations personnel knowledge and competencies.Identifies problem areas with Technology, Electronics and Maintenance affecting Field Operations in the ongoing pursuit of service delivery.Identifies requirements for future IT and field development solutions, including extensive lab, yard and production field testing in helping reduce incidents, enhance safety and effectiveness of operations across all districts.Manages Training Program/Material Development for Field Operations related to Electronics and IT Field Technology.Leads quarterly IT audit and assessment of districts regarding equipment condition and configuration, adherence to operating procedures, and compliance with personnel training requirements.Provides daily and weekly performance reporting to IT and field leadership that depicts well-site equipment performance, necessary critical support, training, and assessment of issues needing attention and/or escalation. Identifies KPI's and key trends for ongoing incident mitigation.Participates in cross-functional team meetings to develop and implement business solutions and optimize operations.Perform other related duties as required.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or 3 years in the oil & gas industry.Advanced industry electronics knowledge across a wide range of control systems and equipment manufacturers.Must possess strong people skills, leadership qualities, managerial abilities and accountability.Clear and effective communication skills (written and verbal) internally and externally.Effective interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence behaviors to create a productive working environment.Team oriented, flexible and able to work with minimal supervisionExtensive travel likely, including weekends and holidays as needed.Sensitive to confidential information.Must work independently and as a member of a team.Mental and Physical Requirements :
Able to read, speak and write English.Good phone, written and verbal communication.Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.Require climbing, ascending and descending stairs, working at heights.Be able to sit, stoop, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods while on duty.Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Be able to manipulate (i.e. push/pull/turn) hoses, equipment, valves, etc.May require working in harsh environments, with exposure to temperature extremes, rain, and snow/ice, in addition to environmental work hazards such as electricity and chemicals.Able to work under stressful conditions at times.Strong work ethics of integrity and honesty striving for excellence in all activities employing accompanying communication.Dependability, reliability, fulfilling responsibilities.
