Job Overview:

In busy outpatient department, coordinate availability of patient, provider and finance to schedule tests and procedures.

Qualifications:

Required:

High School Diploma

3 to 5 years office experience required, good organizational and communication skills required.

Knowledge of medical terminology

Computer skills required

Preferred:

One year (1) secretarial experience

Scheduling Requirements:

Shift- 8:00am-4:00pm

Monday- Friday

Full Time

Essential Functions:

Schedule patients for test and procedures as requested by providers

Coordinate with providers and clinical staff for appropriate dates & times

Coordinate availability of patient

Ensure adequate time is considered due to insurance requirements

Provide patient with details for upcoming appointments

All other duties as assigned
