Job Description: Assistant Event Coordinator
Position Overview:The Assistant Event Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and evaluation of events, ensuring all logistical and operational needs are met. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team to deliver memorable and seamless events.
Key Responsibilities:Event Planning and Coordination:Assist in creating event timelines, schedules, and checklists.Coordinate with vendors, venues, and other stakeholders to ensure all arrangements are in place.Help with event design, including layout, themes, and decor.
Logistics and Operations:Organize and manage event materials, including supplies, equipment, and signage.Support on-site event setup, management, and breakdown.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during events.
Communication and Collaboration:Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, vendors, and team members.Collaborate with the event coordinator to ensure alignment with event goals and budgets.Provide excellent customer service to event attendees and stakeholders.
Administrative Support:Manage event-related documentation, including contracts, permits, and invoices.Assist with tracking budgets and expenses.Compile post-event reports and feedback to evaluate success and identify improvement areas.
Qualifications:
