The Role
The Product Marketing Manager involves defining product positioning and messaging to ensure consistency across campaigns and sales tools while collaborating with various teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives. It includes managing and creating marketing campaigns across multiple channels using account-based and traditional strategies, as well as developing solution-specific content and maintaining corporate branding. The position also requires monitoring campaign performance, reporting on KPIs and ROI efforts, becoming a subject matter expert on assigned products and researching industry and marketing trends.
Key Responsibilities
Define product positioning and messaging that resonate with the target audience and ensure consistency across campaigns and sales enablement toolsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including, but not limited to, Product, Sales, Events and Operations, to align marketing strategies with business objectivesCreate and manage marketing campaigns across various channels to drive demand generation leveraging account-based marketing strategies along with traditional tacticsManage and create solution-specific content, including sales enablement materials, gated content, presentations and other collateralMaintain consistent corporate branding throughout all touchpoints, promotional materials, events and customer communicationsMonitor the performance of campaigns and provide reporting, insights and recommendations to continually optimize and improve resultsResearch and monitor industry trends, presentations and other communications as neededBecome a subject matter expert in all products you are assignedPartner with the sales enablement team to empower our sales and customer success team with playbooks, customer stories and competitive positioningContinue to develop professionally to stay current with marketing trends and software advancementsWhat You'll Bring
Three-five years of experience in product marketing with a track record of helping successfully launch campaignsStrong understanding of demand generation with a track record of owning campaigns from concept to impactAttention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStoryteller with outstanding verbal and written communication skillswith an ability to understand and communicate complex conceptsExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levelsStrong evidence of critical and strategic thinking and executionA self-starter and strong problem solver with a 'can-do' attitudeKnowledge of digital marketing trends and tools, including social media, paid advertising, content marketing and analyticsExperience in B2B marketing and technology preferred, public safety industry experience is a plusProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and CMS software (Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus)
