Req ID: 451740 BASIC PURPOSE: The Sr Manager of Business Systems will partner with business leaders to develop deep, strategic relationships while driving results aligned with Loves strategic priorities. They will have a demonstrated ability to connect business strategy to IT execution with a keen focus on delivering value to our customers. The ideal candidate will also be passionately aligned with Loves culture striving to live up to our core values and customer commitments. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Build and nurture deep, strategic relationships with leaders both within and outside the organization to drive results aligned with Loves strategic priorities. Lead the predictable delivery of complex, multi-year enterprise programs by applying program management rigor throughout the lifecyclefrom vision and roadmap development to value realization and ongoing impact assessment. Collaborate with IT leadership to communicate how technology can enhance growth, productivity, and innovation to business leaders. Create and implement change management strategies to maximize the success and sustainability of transformation initiatives, including operating model changes, organizational design, and cultural shifts. Lead and develop program/project teams, fostering capabilities in program management best practices, data-driven execution, predictive AI models, value management aligned with business and operational objectives, organizational change management, and effective executive communication. Acquire and maintain deep domain knowledge of partner organizational functions to better identify opportunities and risks. Utilize industry trends to drive innovation and uncover new business opportunities. Connect business strategy to IT execution by identifying risks and clarifying opportunities for improvement. Manage planning efforts related to strategic priorities, ensuring alignment with business objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Proactively monitor and anticipate changes in the organizational landscape, including technological advancements and evolving business needs. Foster a culture of shared ownership, continuous organizational evolution, and results-oriented performance that aligns with company values. Establish a team culture characterized by exceptional customer service, innovation, financial discipline, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Partner with teams and organizations to drive meaningful results and ensure alignment with business needs during organizational change initiatives. Prioritize projects and initiatives effectively, ensuring focus on the right work daily. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that accurately reflect team efforts and utilize them to enhance efficiency. Be available for after-hours communications regarding incidents as needed. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Must possess ITIL/COBIT, Agile/SAFE, and PMP practical experience. Typical Physical Demands: Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, and stooping. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. Requires normal range of hearing and vision. Possible on-call availability. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Education: Required: HS Diploma or equivalent required Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Computer related field (Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Information Technology, etc.) Experience: Preferred: 10 years of relevant management experience Preferred: 5 years of experience championing organizational change Job Function(s): Information Technology Loves Travel Stops & Country Stores is the industry-leading travel stop network in the United States.
