Wilson College is seeking dependable and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Van Drivers. This part-time, on-call role offers the chance to serve our campus community by providing safe and efficient shuttle services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Transport students to various destinations, including field trips, shopping, airports, train stations, athletic events, and club trips.Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are safe, clean, and operational.Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal driving regulations.Report any vehicle issues to the Physical Plant immediately.QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.At least 3 years of driving experience; passenger transportation experience preferred.Excellent communication and customer service skills, especially with college-age individuals.Must complete Wilson College's driving certification and a three-part background check.POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
Part-time, as-needed or as-available. Hours and days will vary; may require working weekends and evenings.
