POSITION SUMMARY & PURPOSE
The position is responsible for the design of ACA Centers that adhere the companies design criteria. You will collaborate with Real Estate and Construction to assure centers are opened per the company design standards, on time, and on budget.
The principal functions of the position identified shall not be considered as a complete description of all the work requirements and expectations that may be inherent in the position.

POSITIONS ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are duties and responsibilities:Assist in creating interior design concepts, layouts, and detailed designs that adhere the companies design criteria, meet client needs, aesthetic goals, functional requirements, and code/regulatory standards.Prepare accurate technical drawings, plans, elevations, and details using Revit.Ensure accuracy in design documentation, material selections, and space aesthetics, catching errors early and anticipating potential challenges.Propose design solutions as issues arise, collaborating with contractors and team members to suggest alternatives when necessary.Create 3D renderings and mood boards using Revit, Photoshop, and other visualization tools to communicate design concepts.Assist drafters in creating Interior Design (ID) sets during periods of backlog, ensuring timely completion of design documents.Assist in the research, vendor selection, and specification of materials that align with design goals and meet durability, safety, and sustainability standards.Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and address procurement issues.Assist with project progress tracking, ensuring designs are implemented on time and within budget.Effectively manage multiple design projects without compromising quality.Requirements
EDUCATIONAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
The following are education and skills requirements:
A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution.Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Experience with 3D modeling and rendering is a plus.3 years of Experience designing or working in healthcare or commercial spaces.Knowledge of relevant building codes, accessibility guidelines, and health and safety regulations in healthcare design.A strong portfolio showcasing your experience in interior design, preferably in healthcare or commercial spaces. Experience with autism-focused design is a significant plus.Familiarity with sensory-friendly design principles, including noise reduction, lighting, color schemes, and spatial layout that consider the unique needs of children with autism.High standards of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of design.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work well in a collaborative environment.The ability to clearly communicate design ideas, both verbally and in writing, is essential.Willingness to submit to drug and background screeningsThe ability to work independently and drive resultsExcellent leadership and team management skillsCommunication skills and attention to detailStrong time management skills
