Eaton's Digital Finance & Innovation Team is hiring a Senior Manager of Solution Design & Analytics at our Corporate Headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio. This position requires 10% travel. Our team is at the forefront of Eaton’s finance transformation journey, providing finance teams with the data and insights they need to do their best and most fulfilling work. Reporting to the Vice President of Digital Finance & Innovation, the senior manager of Solution Design and Analytics plays a key role in driving the organization’s finance data strategy, ensuring access to trusted financial data and business metrics enabling deep analytical insights.The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of finance operations, financial systems, data management, design thinking and agile methodologies and brings a focus on driving business outcomes through data. In this role, you will establish the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our digital finance and innovation product portfolio; you will act as a key partner to business and finance stakeholders, identifying opportunities to leverage data to support decision making. You will lead a team of data engineers, data analysts, and report developers to execute the product roadmap, guiding product development and providing voice of the customer. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to supply chain, legal, HR, engineering, marketing, and IT you will ensure successful data product development and launch.What you’ll do:
Engage senior finance and accounting business stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage data to improve processes, support decision-making and drive strategic use of information.Develop the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our digital finance and innovation product portfolio using design thinking methodologies.Lead a technical team responsible for product development, inclusive of constructing and sustaining data pipelines from multiple sources, building data models for analysis and reporting, designing dashboards, reports, and visualizations.Build the capability to utilize advanced analytical methods for insights and decision-making.Leverage Agile development practices to ensure timely delivery of products that meet customer needs and business goals.Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user research to inform product decisions and identify opportunities for innovation.Communicate product strategy, roadmap, and progress to stakeholders across the organization, ensuring a clear understanding of the value of data analytics solutions and promoting their adoption.Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.Collaborate with other Solution Design and Analytics leaders to deliver consistent, high quality finance solutions.Mentor and develop the team, providing regular coaching, feedback, and support to foster growth.Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, data analytics, and/or finance from an accredited institution.Minimum ten (10) years in accounting and/or finance experience.Minimum two (2) years of manager of people experience.Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.No relocation is offered for this position.
