Eaton’s Electrical Sector Americas business is seeking a Product Line Manager to develop and drive the strategy and vision for their Single-Phase Network-Class, Cloud and Endpoint UPS portfolio. This position can be based in either Woodridge, Illinois or Raleigh, NC.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Product Line Director for Physical Infrastructure within the D-IT business unit, this individual will be responsible for developing and driving the strategy for Eaton’s Network Class and Endpoint UPS portfolio which consists of Line-Interactive Single-Phase UPS, Cloud-Connected and Standby UPS product lines.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement the strategic plan for the product line, including product development projects and marketing programs, to achieve growth in orders and sales and maintain profitability of the product line.
- Oversees the development and implementation of strategic short-term and long-term objectives and business plans for the product line. This includes achieving sales volume targets, market share, strategic pricing, pricing realization, profitability, and maintaining product quality standards.
- Directs and oversees new product development and introduction of new products into the market.
- Develops and owns product roadmaps and the execution of the product lifecycle.
- Regularly participates in and reports out product line financials, including forecasting and performance to plan.
- Collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, Segments, Business Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality.
- Accountable for product line P&L; responsibility for volume, price, margin, and profit.
- Lead a team of Product Managers and Associate Product Managers.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated track record driving product line growth.
- Understanding Product Development processes or similar stage gate processes.
- Experience with SAP, Enovia, and Office 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) is desired.
- Solid negotiation skills and knowledge of marketing techniques including experience in sales.
- 7+ years of experience in Product Management or related field.
- 5+ years of experience of technical knowledge of single-phase UPS Systems (or related technologies).
- Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in designing and optimizing prompts for AI tools to enhance performance and achieve desired outcomes, ensuring efficient and effective use of AI technologies.

Education:
An undergraduate degree is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $158249.97 - $232099.96 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
