Position Overview:
We're searching for an exceptional Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Release Train Engineer to lead our WMS replacement initiative. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in coordinating and facilitating the agile delivery process for this strategic project. Key Responsibilities:As our Release Train Engineer (RTE), you will lead the Agile Release Train (ART) to deliver value and drive continuous improvement. Your duties will include:Orchestrating and facilitating ART events to ensure alignment and collaboration among cross-functional teamsCommunicating with stakeholders, escalating impediments, managing risks, and driving continuous improvement initiativesCollaborating closely with Product Managers, Architects, and stakeholders to enable an aligned delivery framework and promote a cohesive and scalable strategyManaging and optimizing the flow of value through the ART through the development, upkeep and dissemination of a robust suite of metrics intended to enable the management of the flow of valueCoaching business and technical leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsetsIdentifying resource gaps and making recommendations to address critical bottlenecks as part of the Continuous Improvement (CI) practice you will leadProviding input on resourcing to ensure strategy and execution alignmentMaintaining Agile tools and information radiators to provide transparency into progress against Planning Interval (PI) objectives and the flow of valueImproving the flow of value through value streams by assessing and improving practices associated with DevOps, CI/CD and Release on DemandSupporting the development of behavioral change management, communications, and training as needed to drive process and tool adoptionCollaborating with key stakeholder groups to validate the effectiveness of standard processes and continuously improve process qualityCreating and sustaining a work environment that drives team engagement and enables business successMajor Duties & Responsibilities:

• Drive Clearance of Impediments in servitude of the ART and in conjunction with Steering Committee

• Work across multiple BT, Architecture, PL and TS groups to define and deliver innovation solutions
• Accountable for cross team communication
• Understands core internal IT products and ability to drive business value
Business Process Improvement
• In partnership with Product Management, continuously drive process improvement opportunities
Leadership by influence
• Lead cross functional teams to drive them to a solution that addresses the business needs
• High level of flexibility to ensure responsibility for the shape and design of projects required throughout any multi area of the business and cross PLs solutions
• Communicate within the technical and business environments with ability to interpret, develop and present information to multiple audiences
• The SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) will:
o Optimize flow and communications across iterations and Product Increments (PI)
o Facilitate PI Planning via synthesis of Vision, Roadmap and Backlogs
o Periodic synchronization across Release Trains & Solution Trains, with Inspect & Adapt workshops
o Assist with economic decision-making by facilitating feature & capability estimation
o Escalate impediments to Steering Committees for assistance in clearance for the team.
• Driving Scaled Agile delivery, working in partnership with the Product Owner and Solution / Data Engineer roles to manage risk in the backlog
• Subject Matter expert in platform solutions offered throughout Johnson & Johnson Technology
Required Minimum Education
: Bachelor's degree in the field of Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or related field.
Required Years of Related Experience:Bachelor's degree in the field of Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or related field.8 years of progressive work experience with demonstrated proficiency in Agile product delivery5 years of experience overseeing release cadences and aligning solutions, changes, and features to a release calendar5 years of experience facilitating interaction and appropriate communication between stakeholders, development teams, architecture, UX and others3 years of experience managing teams of teams or serving as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) for an Agile Release Train (ART)Experience with heavily integrated technical product deliveryTechnical aptitude and experience leading teams in delivering quality technology solutions• SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $172,500.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
