If you thrive on new challenges and value career adaptability, this is the perfect opportunity for you!What our Client is looking for on this ProjectA SAFe 6.0 certified Release Train Engineer (RTE) responsible for successfully delivering large-scale Agile initiatives across multiple teams in an Agile Release Train (ART). This individual works closely with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, System Architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that teams follow Agile principles and practices while facilitating effective communication, planning, and execution. The RTE leads PI (Planning Interval) planning, manages dependencies across teams, and fosters continuous improvement.Day to Day ResponsibilitiesPlanning Interval (PI) PlanningFacilitate PI planning sessions to align teams, stakeholders, and business objectives.Collaborate with Product Management and Architects to define the program's vision, roadmap, and goals.Ensure that teams understand the vision, objectives, and deliverables for each Program Increment.PI ExecutionLead the ART's events to ensure team alignment and timely resolution of issues.Manage dependencies, risks, and impediments across teams and stakeholders.Drive ART-level continuous improvement initiatives, retrospectives, and problem-solving workshops.Monitor and communicate ART progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.Facilitate ART syncs and other collaboration events to ensure program alignment.Manage and resolve impediments, escalating issues to leadership when necessary.Ensure continuous flow of value by fostering collaboration and communication across development, product management, and other stakeholders.Support ART in developing Lean-Agile practices, and manage improvement initiatives.Encourage and foster innovation across teams.Act as a servant leader by supporting the teams in their day-to-day work, removing blockers, and enabling high performance.Mentor and coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other team members on Lean-Agile principles.Champion Agile/SAFe principles and practices, ensuring compliance and process improvement.Identify, track, and mitigate program risks, escalating issues as needed to resolve bottlenecks.Ensure that ART adheres to compliance, quality, and delivery timelines.Basic QualificationsMinimum of 7 years of experience working in Agile frameworks.Minimum of 3 years of experience in an RTE role in a SAFe environment.SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) or other SAFe certifications required.Preferred QualificationsStrong understanding of SAFe principles and practices, including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.Experience with administering project management tools specifically in Jira.Ability to understand technical aspects and discuss solutions with technical teams (e.g., developers, architects).Experience managing large-scale, multi-team Agile projects, preferably in an enterprise environment.Proven track record of facilitating complex ART and team-level coordination.SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) Certification (SAFe 6.0 or later)Located in Atlanta or Southeast.Salary$75 - $90hr W2 Contract or 1099 with insurance.
