Financial ControllerFinancial Controller Description:A well-established and reputable cattle feeding operation is currently in need of a Financial Controller. This person will work closely with the CFO to oversee the accounting practices of two entities.The company provides excellent base pay, bonuses, 100% paid health insurance for individual and family, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, PTO, sick days, and other perks.Financial Controller Responsibilities:
Deal with forecasting, tax planning, financial accounting, auditing, job costing, inventory control, and general ledgersAt times will assist with office procedures such as data entryWill handle separate books for two separate entitiesSchedule will maily consist of M-F aside from certain exceptions to deal with EOM & EOY reporting and audits
Financial Controller Requirements:
Strongly prefer someone with a CPA, but it is not required if they have a strong background in cattle feedlots or overall Agriculture accounting practicesPrefer someone from Cattle feedlots or an Agriculture industry setting but not requiredAccounting degreeStrong experience with Excel and Quickbooks
