A long-standing, full-service law firm in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced Patent Paralegal to join their team. This role will be working closely with two partners, assisting with the full scope of the patent prosecution process for both domestic and foreign filings. This is a hybrid onsite position that requires at least 2 days onsite.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with preparing and filing patent applications, responses to office actions, and other related documents.
Maintain and update patent dockets in partnership with the firm\u2019s docketing department, ensuring deadlines are met.
Prepare and file PCT and foreign patent applications.
Manage communication with clients, patent offices and foreign associates.
QualificationsParalegal certificate from an accredited program is required.
5+ years of patent prosecution experience, preferably from a law firm.
Strong knowledge of the patent prosecution procedures.
The compensation range for this position is $85,000-$105,000. The firm also offers benefits including health coverage, retirement plan and 20 vacation and sick days to start.
