Lochner - learn more about us This position has the flexibility to be hybrid and will report to our La Porte, IN or Indianapolis, IN office Your impact: Experience in the design of concrete and steel bridges, retaining walls, and related structures for INDOT (and other DOT clients) with the ability to oversee and assist in structural analyses, developing calculations, and preparing contract documents (PS&E) in accordance with state and local agency requirements Self-motivated candidate with a desire to work with a team of structural engineers in the preparation of design and contract documents for transportation structures projects Responsible for project schedule, scope, budget, inter-disciplinary coordination and maintaining client relationships Conduct site visits, assist in bridge inspection activities and perform other generally accepted responsibilities associated with the position Adaptability to partner with Lochner offices throughout the firm through work-sharing to deliver projects on-time and within budget Experience with the development of letters of interest, proposal development and fee justifications for clients Who you are: BSCE is required, MSCE is preferred Indiana PE is required Must be in Indiana or willing to relocate within 6 months 10 years of DOT bridge design experience with preventative maintenance, rehabilitation and reconstruction of existing steel and concrete bridges and plan preparation is required.
