Alternative Delivery Engineer.
This role includes responsibilities as a design manager/lead for Owner’s representative general engineering consultant programs and projects and/or design manager/lead as engineer of record on a design build team for Alternative Delivery (design-build, P3, and CMGC) projects. This role will be actively engaged on the advancement of major design and construction projects throughout Georgia and the Southeast. AtkinsRéalis has the depth and breadth of expertise to respond to the most technically challenging and time-critical infrastructure projects and the urgent transition to a low-carbon economy.How will you contribute to the team?Duties for these assignments would include the following:The candidate will have proven experience or a deep interest in working on AD projects.Proven experience in highway project delivery is required; experience in other service sectors is also of interest. Proven ability to successfully act as a design lead or lead technical professional on large, multi-discipline assignments is required.Work closely with the project manager and other discipline leads to effectively deliver key components of the projects by closely defined schedule dates.Able to quickly adapt to changing conditions or changes in design policies and understanding the impact on project delivery needs and schedules.What will you contribute?B.S. or M.S. in Engineering. M.S. or graduate level technical coursework preferred. This level may be achieved by Engineers with seven years of experience since B.S. or 6 years since M.S. Typical incumbent has ten to fourteen years of experience.Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a focus on transportation. Graduate degree is a plus.Georgia P.E. license or ability to obtain within three months of employment is required.Specific experience in delivery of design-build and/or P3 projects is desired, but not required.Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach that permits effective communication amongst leadership, management, clients, project managers and staff.Enthusiastic and resilient attitude with drive to achieve and maximize opportunities.Proven success engaging, developing, mentoring and managing other engineers, technicians or team members.Significant CAD and design software (OpenRoads) proficiency is required.What we offer at AtkinsRéalis:AtkinsRéalis realizes that health, mental and financial wellbeing are all equally needed to achieve balance in life.
