Electronic (Using your CalCareer Account), By Mail, Drop-offThe CalSTRS Investments Branch is seeking an experienced individual to work as an Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) on the Senior Management Team (SMT) Strategic Initiatives team.Under the supervision of the Portfolio Manager, SMT Strategic Initiatives, the AGPA provides analytical support to SMT, Portfolio Manager, and Investment Officers of the Strategic Initiatives team. The incumbent is responsible for performing their duties requiring a moderate degree of supervision and oversight.The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:Experience utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Experience compiling/organizing data and information into reportsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsStrong analytical skillsStrong organizational skills with high attention to detailAbility to research, organize, analyze, and interpret informationAbility to prioritize workload and meet deadlinesEvery 12 months, based on performance evaluation, employees may receive a 5% salary increase until they reach the maximum salary for the position.Does this opportunity seem right for you? CalSTRS offers a hybrid approach with staff working on-site at our Headquarters in West Sacramento 2-3 days per week.All staff of CalSTRS are employees of the State of California and subject to California employment taxes and withholdings. Upon appointment, staff are required to provide a current California address to CalSTRS Human Resources to be used as a remote work location.This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without the need for visa sponsorship by the start date of employment with CalSTRS.Minimum Requirements
