Join Benesch and play a pivotal role in shaping the recruiting success of our organization.The Senior Legal Recruiting Manager is responsible for supporting the Firm's Director of Legal Recruiting in managing lateral attorney recruiting firm-wide, from branding support in the firm's respective markets, to creating a talent pipeline, sourcing candidates, managing the candidate experience, and successfully bringing top talent into the firm. In addition, the Senior Legal Recruiting Manager is to identify and recommend process improvement and ensure the firm's DEI goals are considered related to all recruiting efforts.Essential Functions:Conduct and manage Firmwide attorney searches for all practice groups across all office locations from start to finish; compile job posting language, identify search tactics, identify and recruit top talent, engage recruiters when necessary, manage candidate interview, selection and offer process.Establish and maintain vendor relationships, such as external recruiters, as appropriate.Work closely with Chief Talent Officer and Director of Legal Recruiting to push DEI goals forward related to recruiting and hiring.Manage the utilization of viRecruit, the firm's resume database, including demographics on candidates for Mansfield Rule Certification and other initiatives.Manage content on Careers page of the Firm's website, working closely with our Marketing Department.Identify ways to use technology to recruit top talent and brand Benesch as an employer of choice.Utilize Leopard List to its full capabilities related to talent pipeline, candidate identification, and reporting trends in lateral movement in the firm's respective.Maintain up-to-date and fresh recruiting videos; work closely with Marketing Department to share content on Firm social media sites regularly.Work closely with Marketing Department to maintain recruiting.Send periodic communications firm-wide regarding current openings.In coordination with the Director of Legal Recruiting, communicate regularly with Practice Group Chairs regarding the status of open positions, along with other information that will be helpful to them in understanding market trends, access to talent, and opportunities.Establish and maintain relationships with attorneys and professionals across the Firm to be best positioned to sell candidates on the Benesch experience.Manage the Firm's Judicial Clerkship recruiting initiative, positioning the Firm to attract and recruit lawyers transitioning out of judicial clerkships into private practice.Additional Responsibilities:Assist with special projects as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Confidentiality:Due to the nature of your employment, various documents and information, which are of a confidential nature, will come into your possession. Such documents and information must be kept confidential at all times.Qualifications:The Senior Legal Recruiting Manager must have a Bachelor's Degree. A minimum of 5 years of lateral attorney recruiting experience in a law firm or legal recruiting environment is required. Must be proficient in ViRecruit, LawCruit or similar ATS. An ability to communicate effectively and efficiently, along with strong organizational skills and a client service attitude are required. Must possess a strong desire to learn and be part of a team, have an interest in technology, and be social media savvy. Ability to travel as needed and work overtime/evenings periodically required.
