The University of Washington (UW) Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology is recruiting for a full-time (1.0 FTE) faculty member to join the Multiple Myeloma group. The position would be at the Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor level. This position will hold an annual appointment that aligns with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. The position will focus primarily on clinical care of patients with myeloma, with a secondary focus on inpatient consultations and on-call requirements. Participation in clinical research is encouraged with clinical trials support provided. The position may also involve participation in the clinical and instructional activities of the Division of Hematology and Oncology, including oversight of trainees during outpatient and inpatient clinical activities.Salary:

The base salary range for this position will be: $15,058 - $19,000 per month ($180,696 - $228,000 annually) commensurate with experience and qualifications. Other compensation may include Monthly Additional Compensation (MAC) with a range of: $12,500 - $18,334 per month ($150,000 - $220,008 annually).Anticipated Start Date:

April 1, 2025Qualifications

Requirements include MD or DO (or foreign equivalent), fellowship training in Medical Oncology and Hematology (or foreign equivalent), and American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) eligibility or certification in Medical Oncology or Hematology (or foreign equivalent). In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.Application Instructions
