The Office of Planning, Analysis, and Institutional Research (PAIR) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks is seeking a Data Integration Specialist.
PAIR offers a broad array of decision support services to the university community. We facilitate the analysis and interpretation of institutional data and provide information to support planning and decision making.
In this position, you will support UAF’s enterprise-level Airtable installation and facilitate data integration for human-centric interfaces with numerous institutional systems. This position will frequently interact with a wide range of partners, particularly the Offices of the Provost and the Vice Provost. If you enjoy working collaboratively and have strong communication and time management skills, we encourage you to apply!To thrive in this role, you must have proficiency with relational database concepts, as well as data collection and analysis techniques, as needed to integrate data from multiple sources and maintain data flows within Airtable bases, interfaces, and automations. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. Flexible communication skills and a collaborative customer service attitude will also serve you well.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (i.e. Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management or other related field) and 6 months experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.Position Details:This is a full-time, term-funded, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and
full employee benefits package . UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the
UA Staff Salary Schedule , Grade 78, based on education and experience.Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until a successful candidate is identified.
