Your Mission
As Maintenance & Reliability Manager, you will maintain and improve performance of the company's physical assets and control maintenance labor and material costs to achieve plant performance goals. Provide leadership for a 24/7 maintenance team with multiple work schedules. This team is comprised of a Planner, Storeroom Clerk, Maintenance Team Leads, Maintenance Technicians, and Electronics Technicians.
This position requires advanced knowledge of maintenance, reliability, and physical asset management, along with considerable interaction with plant floor personnel, leadership team, engineering, external support, and contractors.

This position requires advanced knowledge of maintenance, reliability, and physical asset management, along with considerable interaction with plant floor personnel, leadership team, engineering, external support, and contractors.
What You'll Do
- Manage the integrity and maintenance of all plant assets, including production equipment, facilities, utility equipment, and grounds
- Establish departmental goals that maintain focus on improving line efficiencies, product quality, and equipment reliability
- Responsible for the hiring, training and development of maintenance staff
- Emphasis on the development and enforcement of plant safety policies related to LOTO, confined space, electrical, and other industrial safety hazards
- Manage capital and facility maintenance projects and resources through timely equipment installation, service and repair
- Develop ideas and projects to reduce utility and energy costs
- Determine equipment capabilities for new or revised factory layouts
- Create a proactive work environment that involves mechanics in the planning, coordinating, and execution of work
- Develop expertise in the maintenance organization on all mechanical, electrical, and controls platforms
- Implement predictive maintenance strategies to increase reliability and increase planned maintenance activity
- Utilize the companies EAM system to maximize wrench time and improve equipment reliability through efficient scheduling
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or similar engineering field
- Minimum of 7 years of increasing responsibility in plant engineering, reliability engineering, project engineering, or maintenance management in a high speed/automation process or manufacturing operation
- Experience with vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasound detection, and/or motor circuit analysis.
- Familiarity with the Total Productive Maintenance pillars. Experience working with ammonia refrigeration and fire suppression.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with capital project management from appropriation preparation to field start up
- Demonstrated understanding of equipment reliability, preventive/predictive maintenance, lubrication best practices, and precision maintenance techniques
- Experience with SMRP, world class maintenance, TPM, or similar systems
- Knowledge of GMP, MIOSHA, EPA and other local engineering codes & regulations
- Working knowledge of industrial refrigeration, HVAC, boiler, compressed air, and electrical distribution systems
- Must be familiar with Infor EAM or similar computerized maintenance management systems.
- Engineering Degree from ABET- Accredited Program
- 10+ years of Manufacturing Experience as a Reliability Engineer, Plant Engineer or Maintenance Engineer
- CMRP or CMRT Certification; CIRO or CARO Certification
- Experience with HACCP, GMP, and BRC
- Experience with NFPA, NEC, and FSMA.
- Certification under ICML
- Experience with PLC Programming of Allen Bradley or Similar Systems
