Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & Compliance:

Manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements (GAAP) under established deadlines.Internal Controls & Risk Management:

Design and implement strong internal controls, mitigating financial risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.Accounting Operations:

Lead and manage the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment that embodies our core values.Financial Analysis:

Analyze financial data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for business leaders, with a focus on supporting the rental industry.Budgeting & Forecasting:

Develop accurate and comprehensive budgets and forecasts, supporting strategic planning and financial decision-making specific to the rental industry.Treasury Management:

Oversee cash flow management, optimize working capital, and manage relationships with financial institutions.External Reporting & Audits:

Manage relationships with external auditors, ensuring smooth and efficient audit processes.Special Projects:

Take initiative on strategic projects assigned by the CFO, gaining exposure to broader financial leadership and demonstrating our core values.Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

CPA

(Certified Public Accountant)

or CMA

(Certified Management Accountant) designation with a minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience required3 years of

NetSuite

experienceRental and service experience preferred, with exposure to revenue recognition, lease accounting, and industry-specific regulationsProven track record of leading and managing an accounting team in a fast-paced environmentStrong technical accounting skills with expertise in

GAAPExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear and concise informationEffective communication and presentation skills, able to engage with diverse stakeholders from various levelsStrong leadership and interpersonal skills, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment that aligns with our core valuesStrategic thinking and a proactive approach to identifying and solving business challengesA genuine interest in the business and a desire to contribute beyond core accounting functionsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
