Our work is transforming how restaurants operate, making them more efficient and sustainable.What's in it For You:As a key player in our new division, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape its culture and direction.Impact the success of our innovative projects and help define the future of our product offeringsExperience the best of both worlds with this team at Ecolab: the agility and creativity of a startup paired with the stability and resources of a global leader.Our collaborative environment fosters innovation while providing the support and security you need to thrive.What You Will Do:Develop and maintain Databricks workspaces and write ETL scripts for seamless ingestion of customer data, optimizing data flow and qualityWrite and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines to integrate data ingestion with various applications and services, utilizing Databricks parameterization for flexibilityAggregate and roll up analyses for exporting results from Databricks experiments, ensuring data is actionable and readily available for reportingAssist in developing web visualizations that effectively communicate meaningful data to customersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze system requirements and translate them into technical specifications for new application features and enhancementsContribute to architectural and technical decisions and provide expertise in code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practicesEnsure the quality and performance of applications by implementing version control (Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practicesContribute to the creation of new solutions and troubleshoot / optimize existing solutions to improve performance and reliabilityMinimum QualificationsBachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldProven experience in data engineering, with expertise in Databricks and Azure Data Factory2 years of professional experienceStrong understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and analytics methodologiesProficiency in writing SQL and experience with cloud data storage solutionsFamiliarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practicesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesAbility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectivelyPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience with early-stage product developmentProven track record of deploying products in dynamic environmentsFamiliarity with machine learning concepts and predictive modeling techniquesExperience in working with large datasets and data architecture best practicesAbility to wear multiple hats and plug into different roles as product developsDesire to be in a fast-moving, agile environment with willingness to adjust quicklyOpenness to experimental approaches typical of tech start-upsWillingness to learn new skills and technical languages as neededA trusted partner at nearly three million customer locations, Ecolab (ECL) is a global sustainability leader offering water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services that protect people and the resources vital to life.
