Primarily serve in an administrative support capacity to the Director of Economic DevelopmentType and compose letters, memorandums, and emails in accordance with known proceduresHandle incoming and prepare outgoing department correspondenceAnswer department telephoneSchedule meetingsAssist Director with research and preparation of documents and materials for projects, meetings, and eventsPerform data entry and editing on economic development websitePerform computer filling, paper filling, and database entry and coordination for database systems on all associated business mattersReconcile monthly credit card statement and other statements for the DirectorPerform purchasing administrationAny other job duties designated by management
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum Experience: 2 years of secretarial experience required
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Adobe, personal computers and peripheral office equipment, such as copiers, calculators and other equipment required
Valid Texas Driver's License required (due to traveling to other locations, when needed)
Shift: Full Time / Days / Monday - Friday
Pay Details: $37,729 annually (employer will discuss at interview)
