Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer Location: Fort Worth, TX Duration: 2 Years Work Arrangement: Hybrid model- Onsite 50% - 2 days 1 week, 3 days the next (2650 Lou Menk Drive Fort Worth, Texas 76131 United States) About the Position: Senior - innovative, help evaluate tools and either validate or make recommendations - someone who has been in different environments, writing new scripts, someone with SDET type skills but not looking to go build whole custom test tool, just be able to create as needed Database framework is set up, currently have MicroFocus UFT With each new build you need to test different scenarios and need testers to build that Because railroad knowledge, dispatching, etc, is so proprietary, the FTE's are stepping the tests out for those apps, and then contractors are creating the testing based on that (75%) Other apps they needed to get in and identify the test approach, step it out and execute (25%) - however more immediately will be bulk of work since BOS (back office systems) is biggest gap right now. Selling Points of Interest: These apps are mission-critical: Dispatch apps - ensure no train collisions PTC - onboard computer that is similar to self driving car tech for trains Manager Likes/Dislikes: Really likes people who are innovative but don't need a room full of them, need people who can execute and who can also drive others to execute Have to be totally hands-on in production environment for mission-critical apps Must Have Skills/ Requirements, in order of Priority: MicroFocus UFT SQL Experience testing both .net and java apps Willing to get hands dirty Not order takers Creative Nice to Have Skills/ Requirements, in order of Priority: Cloud Railroad Splunk or other monitoring apps
