About This Role:

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000Defined Bonus Structure: Anticipated Bonus - $35,000 - $50,000 AnnuallyBecome An Owner: Equity for Company Ownership

We are hiring a Vice President of Construction for a custom home builder in the Twin Cities!

The Vice President of Construction will oversee operational strategy, manage project execution, and uphold client satisfaction for custom residential construction projects. This key leadership role will guide the construction management team and partner closely with company leaders to ensure efficient operations, project delivery, and profitability of single family home construction projects.

VP of Construction Responsibilities:

Leadership: Lead a small team that specializes in building custom homes, with a focus on performance reviews, professional growth, incentive programs, disciplinary actions for existing employees, and recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new employees.

Project Management: Manage residential construction project budgeting, bidding, and document control while also attending client meetings, supervising project managers, overseeing change orders, purchases, and quality control to ensure standards and deadlines are met.

Client Relations: Maintain strong client relationships and collaboration while presenting project options, budgets, milestones, and general project updates.

Company Financial Oversight: Participate in budget development and management, quarterly and annual budgeting, and review and approval of budgets to ensure adequate P&L performance.

VP of Construction Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in residential construction managementBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldDemonstrated project management skills with residential construction projectsAbility to build strong relationships with clients and ensure their satisfactionLeadership and team management skillsStrong communication and organizational skills

Compensation:

$185,000 - $250,000Comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, 401K, paid time off, paid holidays, and much more
