We are seeking a senior-level Collection Strategist to join our team supporting the SPACECOM J2/JIOC in the Colorado Springs area. The Intelligence Directorate (J2) conducts joint intelligence operations and performs critical operational intelligence functions to support missions assigned to USSPACECOM. Responsibilities
Applies problem solving skills with knowledge of intelligence collection methods, capabilities, and systems to create collection strategies, postures, and plans addressing USSPACECOM priority intelligence requirements.
Collaborates across the IC to understand customer intelligence needs and gaps to optimize developing and validating collection requirements for USSPACECOM. Evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of multi-INT collection against requirements; and the execution of collection plans and strategies to generate reliable and valid intelligence to customers. Uses intelligence collection databases and visualization techniques to research, extract, and interpret ISR data to inform USPACECOM leadership. Assists in developing methods and criteria to evaluate whether collection requirements have been satisfied, using Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs), Measures of Performance (MOPs), responses to collection plans and strategies, and facilitates customer feedback. Identifies collection gaps, related trends and opportunities; assesses collection options, tests assumptions, and produces judgments, recommendations, and solutions to refine collection. Required Qualifications
Current DOD TS/SCI Security Clearance with CI poly 10+ years of intelligence experience BA/BS Degree Successful Completion of Pre-Employment Background Investigation required. Salary Ranges from 100-105K depending on experience. Successful Completion of Pre-Employment Background Investigation required. Preferred Qualifications
Graduate of an in-residence DoD / IC collection management course.
