What You Will Do
Raytheon's Effector Power (EP) Team is looking for an Electrical Test Engineer with education and experience in performing circuit card testing and troubleshooting to the component level utilizing schematics and test equipment.
The Effector Power Department is responsible for the development, from concept to integration, of Telemetry and Flight Termination products; power systems from all up round to the lowest level power regulation; servo electronics supporting all mechanical motion in our products and low noise mixed signal electronics that provides the analog to digital interface to our front-end sensors. Each of these products generally operate in lower power and voltage ranges less than 10kW and 1000V.
What You Will DoWork with a team of engineers performing electrical tests and troubleshooting on subassemblies, assemblies, and systems for conformance to specifications
Understand and applying the theory of operation for the unit under test to enable determination of faulty product for design, workmanship, environmental and/or component defects.
Work on systems validation, test and analysis while working through all phases of integration, and test validation activities within the Labs.
Ensure customer success through the development and execution of innovative and comprehensive test, verification, and validation strategies, processes, tools and techniques.
Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and
Experience with prints, schematics, sketches, and test procedures.
Background with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, or spectrum analyzers.
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We PreferExperience performing engineering tests such as ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure), DVT (Design Verification Test) and DMV (Design Margin Verification).
A self-starter, a quick learner, be able to function in a dynamic environment, and have good time management skills. Should have an appreciation for how successful teams are structured.
Knowledge of programmable electronic parts including microcontrollers and FPGA’s.
Strong team player with good interpersonal skills as well as strong written/verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
