JOB SUMMARY The HR Business partner role will partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, human capital planning, workforce planning, and employee engagement. The HRBP plays a pivotal role in aligning human resource strategies with the overall business objectives of assigned units and the bank. To be successful in this role, one must understand business priorities and translate them into the highest impact work. This role will help business leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations that improve performance, retention, and the overall employee experience. This position acts as a single point of contact to business leaders for all Human Resource needs and coordinates the delivery of solutions through effective teamwork with the HR Discipline heads. The HRBP acts as coach and confidential advisor to the business leaders, providing feedback on style and environmental concerns observed within the division. Overall, success in the role hinges on strategic thinking, strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, data proficiency, and a deep understanding of both HR principles and business operations. This role plays a critical function in driving organizational performance through effective people management strategies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop strategic partnerships with Business leaders and provide thought leadership regarding change management, organizational strategy and execution that's aligned with business strategies. Work closely with leaders to assess, improve and ultimately measure effective work morale, productivity and retention. Provides insight to practices, behaviors, skill requirements, organizational structure, and processes effecting the work environment and ability to achieve goals. Use this information, supported by data, to develop and execute HR strategies that focus on talent management, organizational effectiveness, human capital planning, workforce planning, and employee engagement.Provide innovative solutions that leverage your organizational design and organizational effectiveness skills to maximize business results through our people.Establish, build and maintain positive relationships with COEs and HR Shared Services to ensure all elements of HR are successfully coordinated to meet business needs; this includes implementation of HR programs, relationship management and service delivery commitments. Contribute to the design and delivery of programs and initiatives to attract, retain and promote a diverse and inclusive workforce.Work as the ambassador of the HR organization to represent the services and resources available to employees and help lead the collective reputation of the HR organization as a whole.

ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIESPerforms special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings.

Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTSRequired Qualifications:Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in HR, Business Administration or related field.Minimum experience required: 7+ Years of Human Resources experience with 4 years of HR experience in a business-facing role as a business partner/consultant, or generalist (with heavy advisory focus) experienceExperience partnering with and influencing business leaders and delivering results without direct authority by leading with business acumen and data.Talent management and leadership/employee coaching-advising experience.

Preferred Qualifications:Education level preferred: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in HR, organization psychology or development or related areas.Professional certification from SHRM or HRCI preferred.
