Position Overview (Summary/Objective):
We are seeking a Systems Administrator to implement, maintain, and support our growing corporate and Information Technology infrastructure within a Microsoft Office 365 GCC High environment. You will be part of the Information Technology Operations team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available Information Technology Systems that meet business objectives service requirements.
This role will be based out of our Chantilly, VA office with travel to sites in Tysons, VA and DC.
Responsibilities:In this position, you will be responsible for:Managing and maintaining Data Center systems and Enterprise Applications to include VMWare host, NetApp storage, Windows and Linux servers and various management applicationsMonitoring system performance, utilization, and trending to ensure system availability, reliability, redundancy and sufficient capacityAdministrating and maintaining system software to support the system environment (upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations)Providing Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issuesWorking within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructureCoordinating support and maintenance activities with outside vendors and contractorsWorking with users and other personnel for problem resolutionOther duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related subject or equivalent experienceActive TS/SCI required; Full Scope Polygraph preferred3+ years of hands-on systems administration experience with familiarity working with enterprise systems in a highly regulated environment.Demonstrated hands-on experience and/or familiarity with the following:Microsoft and other Cloud environments, GCC High experience is a plus.Monitoring, diagnostic, analytics, and administration toolsSystems integrations and automation techniques.Networking concepts including switching, routing and firewallsUnderstanding of security and compliance; familiarity with NIST 800-53, DISA STIG and CMMC is a plus.CompTIA Security+ is required.Location:
