ECU Health Medical Center, one of four academic medical centers in North Carolina, is the 974-bed flagship hospital for ECU Health and serves as the primary teaching hospital for The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Position Summary
Provides direct administrative support for an Executive (Vice President's, Medical Director's, and Assistant VP's.) This position may support more than one Executive and/or Management Staff.
Minimum Requirements
High School diploma or higher is required.
1-3 years experience of executive level administrative support required.
An additional four years of experience beyond the required one to three years may be substituted for the required two years of education
Required Experience:1.Demonstrated ability to work with executives and to coordinate a high volume of diverse assignments,effectively handle competing priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
2. Proficiency in use of Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to learnorganization's database, content management system, and other software as needed.
3. Meticulous grammar, editing, writing, presentation and communication skills.
4. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and use good judgment in making independent decisionswith a high degree of tact and diplomacy
Other Information
Full time with benefits - 40 hours per week
Day shift: 8am-5pm with the occasional (8 times a year at most) early morning (7am) and late evening (ending at 8pm)
