Senior Admin Support Specialist

Position Information :

Coordinates the Scholarship and awards for medical and PA students and handles the business affairs of the SCM Student Services Office. Supports and coordinates student services projects as assigned.

Essential Duties

:

Billing/Purchasing/Travel for Student Services Office:Pay bills on a weekly basisHandle P-card purchasesOrder SuppliesServe as coordinator/content expert on Concur travel system for the officeFile reimbursement forms for studentsManage Touchnet, the online payment platformScholarships and Awards:

Schedule, attend and take minutes at scholarship meetingsDevelop and maintain scholarship spreadsheet of all recipientsPrepare and distribute required emails forms, letters etc. in support of the SCMManage Medical, PA Student, and Faculty teaching awardsMaintain database of affiliation agreements. Work with legal department and administration to process agreementsSupport various projects of the SCM student services office including but not limited to: Summer Institute, Pipeline Programs, White Coat Ceremony, Orientations, Match, Graduation, etc.Exhibit a positive and welcoming attitude toward all studentsAssist with reception duties in the office, as neededHelp keep the student services area clean and tidySupport all SCM learners when needed, including medical and PA students and alumniBe willing to assist with other student services activities as directed by the Associate and Assistant Deans, Assistant Director of Student Services, and Director of Student ServicesJob Requirements

Qualifications:

Required Education:

High School Diploma or GED , AND:

24 months office, clerical, or administrative experience.Working Conditions:

Sit for prolonged periods. Communicate effectively and listens. Engage in repetitive motion. Use of computer and telephone. Stand, stoop, bend, and reach.Environmental:

Standard office environment.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
