POSITION OVERVIEW
The Investment Banking Senior Analyst will be responsible for leading the analytical work in support of new business development and transaction execution, as well as assisting senior bankers in the development and delivery of value-added investment banking products and services to clients and prospects. The Senior Analyst should expect a great deal of client exposure and will develop skill sets in the fundamentals of valuation, business strategy and client communication. Ziegler is interested in candidates located in, or who would be willing to relocate to the New York area.
The Senior Analyst will be responsible for:Perform valuation analysis and financial modeling for prospective and live transactionsAssist in the development and production of proposals and presentations to clients and prospectsInteract with members of corporate management teams and financial sponsorsExecute detailed tasks involved in all phases of M&A and private placement engagementsServe as lead role in providing financial, business and market analysis with a special emphasis on reformatting financial statements and benchmarking key performance metricsProvide industry and business researchPossessing an understanding of the firm's competition in its respective areas of expertise and can communicate what sets Ziegler apart from that competitionBeing a resounding voice of Ziegler Corporate Finance both inside and outside the firmBuilding a personal brand on Ziegler's healthcare corporate finance team, a person who will intuitively serve clients in an extraordinary wayOther responsibilities and projects as assignedPROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate possesses the following qualities:
Minimum of two years of investment banking experience (ideally in a healthcare M&A role)One or more years of corporate audit, financial due diligence or valuations experienceBA/BS with demonstrated coursework in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics or related subjects (or analytical work experience in lieu of such coursework)Strong quantitative and analytical skills including experience in valuation, financial modeling and analysis. Financial modeling skills and business strategy execution skills are a mustHigh level of accounting knowledge and proficiency around 3-statement financial analysisSignificant transaction experienceStrong confidence in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint capabilitiesOutstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsStrong project management skills and attention to detailFlexibility in working extended hours and high travel demandsPERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS

The applicable base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $140,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, license, and education. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a performance-based bonus.
