Systems Administrator
MACOM arelooking to hire a Systems Engineer to be an integral part ofthe MACOM IT department. An eligible candidate needs to be self-motivated and skilled at working with other IT teams and business partners to provide secure and supportable solutions. The Systems Engineer will review, assess, build and maintain these solutions using current platforms, while making sure processes and documentation are established to ensure long term support and business availability.
Rolesand ResponsibilitiesSupporting SCCM and endpoint management toolsSupport Active Directory, Exchange Online and Okta platformsSupport Windows Servers operations and troubleshootingCollaborate with multiple IT teams to complete IT projects (Security, Infrastructure, etc)Gather project requirements from business partners and research solutionsHands on support for additional IT teamsMaintain documentation and processes to provide tools support teams requireJob Qualifications
Due to ITAR regulations, US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required5+ years of related IT experienceAbility to work independently as well as with multiple teamsAbility to use critical thinking and experience to identify, assess and provide solutions to unexpected technical issuesAbility and experience tracking projects, tasks, tickets and documentation within helpdesk platformExperience supporting and maintaining Hypervisor platforms (VMWare, Hyper-V, etc)Experience supporting SSO and MFA platforms (Okta, Duo, Azure)Hands-on experience installing server room related hardware (servers, switches, storage)Basic understanding of networkingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrates strong work ethic
