Diodes Engineering Test TechnicianIntern
Role Overview:
As a member of the EngineeringLab Test team, the Diodes Engineering Test Technician Intern will workalongside experienced Engineers and Senior level technicians to characterizenew products as part of our NPI process flow. These evaluations serve as opportunitiesto learn the theoretical and practical approach to performing DC and RFmeasurements. These measurements include, but are not limited to,S-Parameters, DC and/RF pulse power, IP3, IP2, P1dB, harmonics, thermalimaging, and switching speed. The intern will operate and perform test set-ups usingspectrum analyzers, network analyzers, peak power analyzers, oscilloscopes,signal generators, pulse generators, power supplies, power meters, SMU's, andmulti-meters. Along with learning testtechniques and the use of test equipment, the intern will learn about MACOM'sproducts and their operation.
During the 12 weeks eachIntern will:>Begiven an individual and well-defined test projects and clear goals>Gain hands-on test experience in an engineering test laboratory>Receiveexcellent training and ongoing supervision>Beinvited to attend an intern webinar series>Attendnetworking/social events>Attendand present at Poster Session about each Interns project successes and pitfalls>Receiveformal, written feedback
Requirements:Currently enrolled in anAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.US permanent resident orUS citizen required due to ITAR restrictions.Desirable Skills andExperience:
