Do you excel at managing tagging and taxonomy projects? Are you a technical expert with a deep understanding of ad tech and experience working across consumer media and healthcare brands? If so, we're looking for an Associate Director to lead a comprehensive Tagging and Taxonomy Project for our client. In this role, you'll collaborate with multiple agency partners to audit, revamp, and implement taxonomies using Claravine, ensuring a smooth rollout across digital platforms and pharma brands. Highly organized and detail-oriented, you'll oversee the entire process, from taxonomy alignment to the trafficking workflow, and play a key role in enhancing audience targeting and data governance.

Key Responsibilities:Lead the kickoff and coordination of the taxonomy project, working with key stakeholders from CMI, Spring, and Bond agencies.Audit current taxonomies across all channels, identifying gaps and ensuring alignment with business needs.Establish a data dictionary and governance model that integrates with existing systems like Claravine and supports long-term taxonomy structure.Implement Claravine across brands, ensuring metadata is correctly classified for site-side attribution and audience targeting.Collaborate with agency partners to update "front end" and "back end" taxonomies, including classifications for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data.Oversee trafficking workflows, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities for ad creation, trafficking, and naming conventions.Develop formalized documentation, including a trafficking workflow and Claravine ID templates for various types of media buys.Ensure consistency in taxonomy usage across brands, cleaning up acronyms and ensuring clarity for all users.Qualifications
Associate Director level with experience on an AdTech team within an agency.Expertise in tagging, taxonomy tools (e.g., Claravine), and ad ops, with experience across all major digital platforms.Experience working with a large portfolio of brands and datasets.Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage agency relationships.In-depth knowledge of nomenclature and taxonomy in large-scale data environments.
