Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services is looking to identify highly qualified and capable candidates to provide backfill for the D3I D2 - Network Technician / Systems Administrator position per the SMDC NCR-IADS Task Order. Candidates with experience with the JADOC, 263dAAMDC, and/or the SCARNG DOIM are highly encouraged to apply against this position.

The selected candidate will build, deploy, and update SIPR and NIPR workstations/servers on behalf of the 263rd Army Air & Missile Defense Command (AAMDC). This includes applying IAVAs and Operating System patches, implementing STIGs and conducting routine scans while applying applicable policies. Additional system administration requirements will include government furnished distributed training hardware and tactical systems to include radar systems, tactical radios, and C2 and Fire control workstations.

The selected candidate will also provide support in the purchase, design, build, test and maintain LAN/MAN/WANs supporting operational and testing architectures. This includes Network integration, network management, network configuration, monitoring, issue resolution and reporting on operations. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating software products and providing quality assurance. The candidate will provide oversight and assistance over information systems, computers, and communications; to include security, control, and operations.

This effort is required to provide constant 24/7 support of a critical mission headquarters. The candidate will be required to attend and participate in technical interchanges and meetings, assist with the development of network design documentation packages, and support system and network accreditation processes. Direct experience with the Joint Air Defense Operations Center (JADOC) is highly desired.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

Must have at least an active Secret DoD Security Clearance.Position requires a current CompTIA Security+ or continuing education.Bachelor's Degree in a related field is desired, but applicable training and experience will be considered.At a minimum, candidate should have demonstrated five (5) years or more experience in Systems Administration, Desktop Support or Network DesignMust have demonstrated proficiency using MS Office applications.Knowledge and experience with Microsoft, Linux, networking NSA Type 1 encryption devices, VOIP, email, video teleconferencing, Microsoft Server Systems (Exchange, SharePoint, and SQL Server), VMware, EPO Antivirus Server, Symantec Backup, MS Active Directory Admin, and Cisco (switches, routers, 5510 Firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems).PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Additional CompTIA certifications, to include Cisco certifications are desired, but not required for this position.Demonstrated ability to manage, configure and STIG network devices, load and configure inline encryption devices, and apply system patches is a plus.Experience supporting 263rd AAMDC Mission Requirements is highly desired.Demonstrated ability to manage, configure and STIG network devices and computer workstations, load and configure inline encryption devices, and apply system patches is a plus.Direct experience with the Joint Air Defense Operations Center (JADOC) is highly desired.#LI-AC1#LI-Onsite
