Orlando, Atlanta, Washington DC, Reno, Dallas and Charlotte, NC.

Our SQF, Kosher and organic production facility in Charlotte roasts nuts & seeds daily and blends over 60 bulk snack mixes. These facilities also package and re-box many of our items to meet our customers' varied needs. Charlotte is our corporate headquarters, and is home to purchasing, accounting, and sales & marketing offices.

Job SummaryThe Strategic Account Manager is responsible for fostering and enhancing existing business relationships to deliver on our commitment to Captivate Customers. This role will drive profitable revenue growth by developing and maintaining strong business relationships at key corporate accounts. They are expected to drive value for both the business and the customer by identifying and developing partnership opportunities, corporate sales programs, and mutually beneficial growth initiatives to increase sales and profitability. The Strategic Account Manager will influence decision making at all levels of both the customer's organization and within Truly Good Foods by demonstrating strong business, financial and emotional intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Job DutiesManaging and developing existing strategic accounts. Developing strategies for mutually strengthening partnerships and business relationships.Creating and implementing account plans with short-term objectives and long-term goals along with clearly defined steps to reach them.Preparing and participating in regular Top-to-Top meetings with strategic accountsCompleting and implementing new business development plans for strategic account prospects.Maintaining project pipeline and ensuring forecasting accuracy.Collaborating with internal departments, such as marketing, supply chain, operations, and external partners and vendors in the development and implementation of projects, plans, and business models.Engaging in customer/industry activities and business building opportunities (tradeshows, innovation sessions, customer vendor summits, etc.)Delivering financial targets for new and ongoing business.Managing customer contracts with team support.Participating in sales and customer process improvement teams (continuous improvement) to ensure customer and company requirements are simultaneously met.Analyzing changes in market dynamics and using data to adapt strategies as necessary to achieve increased sales volume and margin growthPreparing compelling and data-driven presentations tailored to each customer, identifying growth opportunities and actionable plans.Utilizing available technology (i.e., Dynamics, Hubspot & BI) to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual business analysis to present to strategic accounts.Handling customer requests and communications promptly and professionally.Coordinating business meetings and presentations on behalf of the brand.Reviewing pricing and margins for each contract and identifying issues and opportunities for improvement.Providing input to the management team on new product or service features to be developed to meet current and future customer needs.In keeping with our value of Customer Satisfaction, this position is expected to provide high-quality customer service to our internal and external customers, vendors, and others alike.Adheres to company Policy and Procedures.Acts as a role model within and outside the company.Performs duties as workload necessitates.Maintains a positive and respectful attitude.Communicates regularly with supervisor and about department issues.Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize.Consistently reports to work on time, prepared to perform duties of position.Meets department productivity standards.May perform other duties as required.Scope of Responsibility

This job is responsible for sales reporting, forecasting and analysis.This job will have periodic access to confidential data including financial statements, company records and/or minutes, customer quotes, and company plans, designs, and/or programs.This job develops plans and implements new procedures and methods to achieve company goals.Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Knowledge and Skill RequirementsLanguage Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to read and understand English.Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business platforms.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in marketing or business administration from four-year college or university; and 4+ years related experience in account management roles.Sales reporting, forecasting, insights, and analytics savvy.Business Development, Sales, Marketing or Customer Relations expertise.Problem solving and de-escalation mindset.Accurate, detail-oriented approach to daily workResults driven with a strong will to embrace and drive change.Ability to build healthy relationships, at all levels of the organization, both externally and internally.Strong business acumen including in-depth knowledge of the P&L and levers to improve profitability.Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.Desire and ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality.Proven work experience as a strategic account manager at corporate level. Specific experience and success in key accounts will be a major benefit to this position.Hands on experience with account management systems and understanding of sales performance metrics.Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.Passion to challenge the status quo and find innovative solutions and drive out of the box ideas.Not afraid to "roll up sleeves" with individual contributor responsibilities; seeks to go beyond comfort to learn.Physical Demands
