The position requires moderate physical exertion, such as lifting, bending and considerable time standing.Job Requirements Ability to work independently from blueprints. Able to do inspection setup on surface plate using common inspection equipment. Operate hardness testing machine. Operate Optical Comparator. Perform receiving inspection and associated paperwork. Perform first article inspections. Report discrepancies by writing Rejection Notices. Perform inspection on outside processing and associated paperwork. Perform all other duties as assigned or directed. Required to pass eye test. QualificationsMinimum of two years recent experience in a job shop environment.Basic knowledge of sheet metal, welding and machining.Basic blueprint reading skills, including GD&T.Ability to do basic shop math functions associated with inspection setup procedures.Ability to read and understand Customer and industry specifications.Must be organized and able to multi-task.Must be detail oriented.Be willing to work as a team.Ability to drive forklift.Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office products.Pay Range: $20.67 - $38.46/hourSchedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 4:30PMVisit www.trimasbenefits.com for benefits information
