ARC is dedicated to unifying the region's collective resources to prepare the metropolitan area for a prosperous future. This is done through professional planning initiatives, the provision of objective information and the involvement of the community in collaborative partnerships.The Office of Human Resources supports 200 + employees in the execution and administration of a full range of human resources programs and initiatives, including talent acquisition, compensation and classification, benefits, pension administration, performance management, leadership and professional development, retirement administration, policy development, HRIS/Analytics, risk management, employment law compliance, and employee relations. While the agency's workforce is small in comparison, the complex work, diversified and cutting-edge skillset required to address the complex regional issues around transportation, natural resources, workforce development, and senior services for one of the fastest growing older adult populations in the country requires a unique Human Resources (HR) professional.We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented HR Data and Project Support Specialist to provide essential high-level support within our Human Resources team. This temporary role will focus on managing key HR projects and analyzing data to enhance strategic HR operations. The role requires strong analytical abilities, above-average communication skills, and a commitment to confidentiality. Success in this role will rely on exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Given our fast-paced and highly engaging environment, the ability to plan work effectively, meet tight deadlines, and adapt quickly is essential. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Leads HR-related projects from planning through completion, ensuring that timelines, objectives, and deliverables are met.Coordinates with HR teams across departments, aligning goals and integrating various HR initiatives.Establishes systems to effectively measure outputs and outcomes. Tracks project progress, manage risks, and provide updates to leadership as necessary.Ensures efficient planning and prioritization of tasks to consistently meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Analyzes data to recommend improvements in HR processes, policies, and programs.Develops insights to support employee retention, engagement strategies, and overall operational efficiency.Communicates effectively complex data insights in a straightforward manner.Performs other duties as assigned to support agency goals and objectives. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field is required;Minimum of 5 years in HR project management, data analytics, or a similar role. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies: Strong background in data analysis and HR project management;Above-average writing and communication skills;High degree of confidentiality and discretion;Approaches interactions with employees as valued customers, demonstrating a service-oriented mindset.Enjoy working collaboratively with people at all levels within the organization and contribute to a positive workplace environment.Ability to plan work and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment;Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and HRIS systems.
