Responsibilities for this Position Planner - Production Control BTTUS-CT-GrotonJob ID: 2024-13335Type: Full-Time# of Openings: 5Category: PlanningEB Groton ShipyardOverview The Build-To-Test Planner is responsible for generating and overseeing work orders to identify inspection and test boundary procedures. Ensuring that all New Construction and Post Shakedown Availability meet safety, cost, quality, and scheduling standards for Columbia Class delivered products. Specific responsibilities include: In depth knowledge of Planning; including Artemis Data Maintenance, Work Package Development, and Change Maintenance with the systems that support those processes. Responsible for inspection and test work packages that include all required Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) has been obtained among HII-NNS, Quonset Point and Groton. Maintain a strong interface with STO, Operations, Trades, Ships Management and other Planning departments in support of inspections, tests and OPCON of all HM&E, S&EP and Nuclear systems Participate in the development of new Planning processes and update procedures accourdingly. Responsibilities Skills: Moderate MS Office Proficiency (Excel, Word, Power Point) Minimal/Basic AutoCAD Proficiency Moderate Blueprint reading skills Strong critical thinking skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Qualifications Required: High School diploma or equivalent 2+ years EB/Shipyard experience in any of the following; Operations, Shipboard Test, Planning, Design Security Clearance Preferred: Understanding of NX / Team Center Experience using MRPII, EWP/PCM, and Artemis Experience using Construction Drawings Four (4) years of Navy / Shipyard Experience in Testing, Piping and use of Technical Drawings PI255244522Back To Search ResultsGeneral Dynamics Electric Boat is a recognized leader in the design, construction and lifecycle support of submarines for the United States Navy.
