Working with a Fire Truck manufacturing company in the Ocala area that is seeking qualified Mechanical Assembler for 1st shift!!!
Description:
Inspect, diagnose, repair/rebuild and install any range of mechanical components as part of the process of building/rebuilding large, custom, special purpose vehicles of any description.
-Work from shop orders, specifications, manuals, schematics, prints and instructions.
-Review shop orders, red books, change orders and/or all other order affiliated documents in order to determine requirements.
-As necessary, diagnose problems, establish root cause, disassemble units, determine extent of repairs, identify material requirements, and rebuild and repair any range of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic units including engines, transmissions, pumps, air conditioning systems, alternators, ladders and electronic control systems.
-Reassemble and test components to meet all applicable and required standards.
-Review diagrams and trace complicated hydraulic and air line circuits, involving directional flow, pressure relief, check and similar valves, pumps and related parts and components affecting engine, transmission, drive lines, air conditioners and aerial operations.
-Check linkages for connections and adjustment and check hose lines for leakage and connections.
-Identify and locate defective parts or components, remove and replace parts or components and make required adjustments.

a. Work from schedules, manual, wiring diagrams and shop orders
b. Identify and understand basic plumbing, electrical and mechanical components commonly used in assembly
c. Must be able to operate hand and power tools:
D. Saw, impact wrenches, stud welder, grinders, belt sander, drill press, tape measure templates & heat gun, overhead crane
Schedule:
1st Shift, Monday - Thursday, 5:00AM - 4:00PM. Voluntary overtime on Friday
Pay:
$16.50 hr. with opportunity with pay increases within the first 4-6 months.
